Gypsies sunk to 0-2 against other Misanthropic teams with a disappointing loss. Nomads came out swinging and set up the win with an unbeaten ton by a bloke fired up by Hollywood asking him to wear a helmet when on zero. It was shades of Deno v Curtley and the wristbands, although to be fair he was dropped 3 or 4 times during the course of his plundering.
Set 220 for victory, the Nomads' bowling was probably the best we've seen all season and only Bobo & Daz looked in any way comfortable. Bobo posted the first Gypsy 50 of the season, before being run out. |
