Gypsies made it to on the trot, but they made hard work of it. Two top-order ducks left the innings in a parlous state at 6/47, before Kitty & Chopper assumed management control, posting a 67-run stand and take the game away from the Briars. Irish O'Cohen delivered on the promise he's shown in development with some fine hitting in the late overs, enabling the Gypsies to post a respectable 152.
Briars then capitulated to some fine bowling from V and then Saviour who took 4 poles each and skittled the Briars for a paltry 52. |
